After moving to Johnson City in 2011 store owners, Seth and Jasmin fell in love with the Hill Country, the winding farm-to-market roads, expansive views, burgeoning wine industry and small town culture. Stidham Outfitters opened in 2014 specializing in handmade, american made men's goods. Later the store expanded to Main Street with an authentic vibe of home goods, apparel, jewelry, antique finds & handmade gifts. Leather craftsman, Seth also maintains a workshop within the store where visitors can stop in for a glimpse of an age-old, unhurried craft.

Stidham Custom Leather
How often do you buy goods from the actual person who made them? How about a closeup view of the tools and materials they used? At Stidham Outfitters our shelves are stocked with handcrafted, american made leather goods designed & built by store owner, Seth Stidham. Specializing in western, sheridan-style tooling the Stidham Custom Leather workshop is a sight to be seen while visiting the store!
There aren’t too many places you can browse for home goods, gifts, and apparel while watching a leather craftsman tooling away in his workshop, but Stidham Outfitters delivers such a space. As Seth Stidham carves, tools, and sews custom belts, wallets, purses, catchalls, and other works of leather art in his workshop, his other half, Jasmin Arpin, stocks the retail side of their enterprise with apparel, jewelry, and home goods from like-minded indie brands. (Meanwhile, Pearl, the sweet shop dog, dutifully poses for social-media snaps.)
Who’s behind it: Seth Stidham and Jasmin Arpin, who moved to town in 2011 and have shop-owning in their blood (Seth’s a fourth-generation shop owner and maker).
